With Mat vs. Without Mat. Which One is Right for You?

Without Mat – Clean & Bold Look

✔️ My posters are designed with a white border built in, so they look great in a frame without a mat.
✔️ This creates a modern, bold look—perfect for sports-themed decor.

With Mat – Classic & Professional Look

✔️ If you prefer a framed print with a mat, you can choose a larger frame with a mat insert for a more polished, gallery-style look.
❗ Want a borderless print to fit perfectly inside a mat? Contact me before purchasing, and I’ll provide a special borderless version of your poster.

Top Frame Recommendations

Here are my top picks for frames that work well with my posters:

Best Frame for a Clean Look
(No Mat)

A sleek, high-quality frame that works perfectly with my posters.

✔️ Available in multiple sizes
✔️ Clean, modern finish
✔️ Removable mat (works perfectly with my designs)

Best Frame for a Classic Look
(With Mat)

If you prefer a classic framed art look, this one comes with a mat.

✔️ Includes a removable mat
✔️ Available in black, white, or wood finishes
✔️ For full-bleed prints (without a white border), contact me for files.

Best Frame Set of 3
(Mat & No Mat Options)

This set of 3 matching frames is perfect for displaying your poster sets side by side for a cohesive look.

✔️ Four frame colors to choose from
✔️ Available in most popular sizes
✔️ No mat needed

TIP: Choose your frame first, then select the correct poster size to match. If using a frame with a mat, print your poster at the mat opening size. For example, if you have a 16×20″ frame matted to 11×14″, you should order the 11×14″ poster size.

Hanging Your Framed Posters

To make sure your artwork is visually striking, follow this recommended height guide:

Standard Hanging Height (Eye-Level):
The best height for artwork is 57 inches from the center of your poster to the floor. This keeps it at eye level for most people.

Alternative Higher Hanging Option:
If 57 inches feels too low, try hanging it slightly higher at around 60 inches for a balanced look.

TIP: If you’re hanging multiple posters together, keep the spacing consistent (about 2-3 inches between frames) for a clean and professional display.
